Hi, I’m Katina.
Let me walk with you as a guide in this broken world towards hope and life. I have 10 years experience providing teen, individual, family, and couples therapy. My specialties include helping people who struggle with emotions, trauma, relationship issues, cross-cultural issues, and spirituality. I do this by providing a safe space and evidenced-based therapy to reach your goals. My style of therapy is compassionate and practical. People who know me well describe me as authentic, calm, and welcoming.
While I enjoy assisting people of diverse faiths and backgrounds, I am also passionate about combining effective tools and research from psychology with spiritual healing. As a follower of Jesus, I love coming alongside clients in finding ultimate truth and belonging through knowing God, who created you and invites you to have a life full of joy, meaning, and hope.
Prior to being a therapist, I was an English-as-a-second language teacher to teens and adults in China, Newport Beach, and Berkeley. I deeply connect with the minority experience and value diversity having lived overseas and as a second-generation Chinese-American. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my husband, two daughters, and two cats.
